Being officially coined a full-time consultant in 2019, Ashley Maurer has been in the active pursuit of business consulting since 2015. Finding her first client online, she requested to contribute to her blog. What started as monthly blog posts turned into weekly content and assistance with her client’s memoir. Realizing she had a knack for networking and pinpointing pain points within the first few minutes, Ashley found herself dabbling in business development for various agencies across the country. Wanting to expand her horizons, she accepted a position with an online education company as a General Manager in 2017. Serving all 50 states, with two marketplaces in each, she became educated in P&L planning, board presentations, and the other financial and technical facets that occur behind the scenes for a successfully growing company.
In 2019 Ashley left her job as General Manager and began consulting full-time. Working with a tech start-up in Santa Cruz, CA for social marketing, a STL local SaaS company for branding, and business development for a powerhouse agency in D.C., she thrives off of the hustle.

Never having to advertise her services, referrals just by word of mouth placed her in a position where she could branch out on her own. She maximizes on today’s digital world by working with clients across the country. Hopping on a plane or settling in for a video chat suit her just fun. She bring an exception level of energy, data driven methodologies, and a forward thinking perspective that sets her apart.
From aspiring to receive her MFA, to discovering the world of business, Ashley has embodied the philosophy that you can learn anything as long as you have the grit and determination. Known for her networking and ability to pinpoint a business’ problem in the first five minutes, Ashley has never done well behind a desk. She began as an editorial intern for STL’s lifestyle magazine, ALIVE, and then transitioned to a roll as a managing editor for a publishing house. After having her daughter, she realized that she wanted to be the parent that could make the recitals while also dominating the workforce. Ashley fell into the world of business by chance and hasn’t looked back. Consulting since 2015, Ashley has direct experience with digital marketing, P & L planning, management audits, brand strategy, and business development.
